Class meeting: Fridays 10:10 – 12:00 (10-12 talks in one semester. Dates and topics will be announced on http:///www.ipe.nchu.edu.tw)
Grading: Quiz/attendance/participation 100%。

Students may fail this course if they are absent up to 1/4 of the scheduled seminars. Students are also expected to be on time for all the scheduled seminars unless having proper excused reasons. It is regarded as absence if students are late for over 15 minutes.
學期成績以隨堂測試成績之平均與隨堂加減分之總和，上課遲到超過十五分鐘禁止入場(該堂以缺席論處)，全學期缺席次數達到1/4以上者與平均成績不及格者 ，學期成績將評定為不及格。

Objective: Enrich knowledge of research fields, technology development and innovations.
拓展研究生的研究知識領域，吸取更寬廣的科技發展，體認新時代之研究方向。

Method:
There are 10-12 talks arranged in one semester. Speakers are invited by the faculties. Students are required to listen attentively during the talks. This course will be graded on the basis of the average of all the scores on the quizzes right after each talk. If students need to ask for leave of absence, please email to 0730pin@email.nchu.edu.tw one day before the talks; otherwise, the score of that talk will be graded to zero. Students may fail this course if they are absent up to 1/4 of the scheduled seminars.

本所將於本學期間，由本所教師推薦與邀請有關精密工程與科技相關之學術演講約10~12場，修課同學需認真聽講，並於課後有隨堂測試，因故需請假者，須事前作請假核可，無故不到者，該次成績以零分計算，全學期缺席次數達到1/4(含)以上者與平均成績不及格者，學期成績將評定為不及格，有因此影響修業年限者，自行負責。
